TAGMaC Fall 2023

The NC State chapter of the AMS will be hosting TAGMaC at SAS Hall (2311 Stinson Dr. Raleigh, NC) on September 30th from 9:00-5:00 pm.

We are happy to welcome Dr. Talia Fernós as a plenary speaker.

Dr. Fernós achieved their PhD from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006, after which they were awarded an NSF postdoctoral fellowship. Talia joined UNCG as an Assistant Professor in 2010, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016. Their current research focuses on geometric group theory.

Parking and Transportation

Parking is free on NC State’s campus on the weekend. There is a parking lot behind SAS hall which connects to the first floor lobby. More travel information can be found at this link.

The deadline to register is September 22nd for presenters and September 25th for attendees. Lunch, breakfast, and coffee will be provided. We are not able to provide reimbursement.
